Governor Abbott Appoints Adams To Texas State Board Of Social Worker Examiners

Governor Greg Abbott appointed Andranik Adams to the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners for a term set to expire on February 1, 2027. The Board is responsible for regulating the practice of social work in Texas.

Andranik Adams of DeSoto is a licensed master social worker with Hospice Plus in Dallas, where she provides emotional, psychological assessments, and physical support to individuals while on hospice. Adams received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Southern University at New Orleans and a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington.
